Introduction

This card is a 2.5Gbps  Ethernet PCI Express Card, which is specifically designed to plug into a desktop equipped with an available x4, x8 or x16 PCI Express slot. It supports high performance dual channel networking and full duplex communication to achieve up to 2500 Mbps and fast transfer rates, yet is compatible with existing Ethernet.

• Interrupt moderation, VLAN (802.1Q & 802.1P), TCP/IP checksum offload, segmentation offload

• Time Sensitive Network (TSN): IEEE 1588/ 802.AS Rev, 802.1Qav, 802.1Qbv

It will be more stable than the USB port that comes with the computer itself. The reason is that most of the USB ports of a computer come out of the south bridge of the motherboard. This card directly comes out of the independent USB chip through the PCIE slot directly connected to the CPU, eliminating the south bridge as an intermediate link, which is more efficient and has lower wear and tear
